Created in 2023 by Collectif Belleville, the CAN de Belleville is a neighbourhood football tournament inspired by the Africa Cup of Nations. Players come together in teams representing countries connected to their own or their families' heritage.

Held at the foot of Parc de Belleville, the tournament has grown into a gathering that extends far beyond football, bringing together generations, families and communities from across the neighbourhood.

Commissioned by Collectif Belleville in June 2026, this series documents both the tournament and the life unfolding around it (supporters, encounters, celebrations) and moments of togetherness that turn a local football pitch into a shared community space.
